Pye Lake is just a short drive north of Campbell river and part of a chain of unconnected lakes (Roberts, Stella, Pye and McCreight Lake) that are all well worth the visit. One can easily spend an enjoyable afternoon, or even and entire day paddling this lovely island lake. The only down side is that there are few places to pull out for a swim, a picnic or an lazy afternoon nap. Pye Lake can also be something of a party spot, particularly on weekends, in the summer.
